Recently I decided to try making smoothies without spinach and it turned out awesome. Even though the greens are gone, there are so many health benefits to this. Its loaded with potassium, vitamin C, antioxidants, fiber and much more. And besides all that, it’s just plain delicious!
What you’ll need:
- One banana (peeled, sliced, and frozen)
- Three large strawberries (rinsed)
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1-2 tsp. matcha powder
Before we start with a super simple recipe, we’re gonna start with a few tips. For the banana, make sure you peel and cut it before you freeze it! If you don’t you’ll end up with a frozen-solid, useless banana. For the strawberries, rinse them and pull off the leaves. No need to cut them off and lose flesh.
