Roasted garlic is one of the yummiest things on the planet. Roasting it keeps a slight garlic flavor, but its much sweeter and milder. Use it in any recipe or even spread it on a piece of toast for an awesome snack. Just don’t kiss anyone after.
What you’ll need:
- 1 head of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
First you want to peel the outer layer and then cut off the top so all of the tops of the cloves are exposed. Place the garlic in a piece of foil, drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil, wrap it up, and place on a baking sheet.
Put it in the oven for about 45 minutes or until it’s golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes and then lightly squeeze or peel each clove out of its skin. Store in a container in the fridge with a tbsp of olive oil. This will last for about 2 weeks and is good on seriously everything. Use this in our next recipe!
