Soy Shrimp

This Asian-inspired shrimp is super quick and easy. Make as little or as much shrimp as you like, serve with rice and enjoy!

What you’ll need:

  • Up to 1 lb of shrimp
  • 1 tbsp oil (canola, olive, vegetable, anything really)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • A dash of ground ginger
  • A dash of red pepper flakes
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Salt and pepper

In a bowl combine soy, sugar, garlic, ginger, pepper flakes, lime, salt and pepper. Whisk until combined.IMG_8243

Make sure shrimp are peeled. Heat oil over medium high heat. Once hot add shrimp and cook for three minutes on one side. IMG_8242Flip and cook for three more minutes or until pink. Add sauce mixture and immediately take off of heat. Mix it all either by using tongs or just moving the pan around. Do this for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve hot and enjoy!IMG_8244
