The idea is simple; delicious and nutritious meals all under 8 ingredients. Growing up eating gourmet meals prepared by our parents nightly, the idea of moving into an apartment eating only ramen did not appeal to us–at all. This blog is for those who want and love to eat but struggle to create home cooked meals while in college.
Creating great flavors with simple, fresh ingredients is our motto. That being said,I love all types of food and will be sure to touch on all different realms of cooking.
My hope is for this place to become a collaborative place for everyone to share recipes and moments from the kitchen.

Who am I?
I’m a senior at the University of Oregon and I’m majoring in Business with a concentration in Sports Marketing and minoring in Spanish. I’m originally from Los Angeles where my dad is a private chef. Growing up with a chef as a father and a grandma from Mexico who loves to cook, I’ve always been an adventurous eater am open to trying (almost) anything. I love food and cooking and hope I can make people see cooking as a luxury and not a chore!
What’s my favorite thing to eat?
Sushi, all day-every day.

Pizza sauce and grape flavored candy.
